WEBSITE PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated June 2021

I respect your privacy and am committed to protecting it. This privacy policy describes how I store, process, use, maintain, protect, and disclose information collected from the website efttappingforhealth.com and from any email or electronic messages via the website or service provider (email marketing, newsletter, etc.).

This policy does not apply to any applications or information collected by a third party or any other means through content linked to this website. I am not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third-party sites.

Please read the privacy policy carefully before you use this website. By using the website or entering contact information, you agree to accept the terms in this privacy policy. If you disagree with the privacy policy, you must not access or use the website.

CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 18

This website is intended for adults age 18 or older. No one under age 18 may provide any information to or on efttappingforhealth.com. I do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

If you are under age 18, please do not provide any information about yourself, including your name, address, phone number, or email address.

If I learn I have received information from a minor without verification of parental consent, I will delete that information. If you believe I might have information about a child under the age of 18, please contact me at info@efttappingforhealth.com.

COOKIES

When you access the website, I will learn certain information about you automatically (e.g., through “cookies” – see below) and through voluntary actions you may take (e.g., filling out a contact form) during your visit.

Like other commercial websites, this website uses standard technology called “cookies” and server log files to collect information about how the site is used. This allows me to analyze website traffic and helps me provide a better website visitor experience.

A cookie is a small file which often includes an anonymous unique identifier. When you visit a website, that site’s computer asks your computer for permission to store this file in a part of your hard drive specifically designed for cookies. Cookies do not access information stored on your computer or any personal information (e.g., name, address, email address, telephone number, etc.).

Information gathered through cookies and server logs may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at the site, the websites visited just before and just after this site, and your IP address.

Each website can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser’s preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has already sent you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites.

Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can choose to reject cookies by changing your browser settings. This may, however, prevent you from taking full advantage of this website.

IP ADDRESSES

Your IP address is a number used by computers on the network to identify your computer. IP addresses are used by your computer every time you are connected to the internet. Your IP address is automatically collected by the site’s web server as part of “traffic data” (i.e., demographic and profile data) so that data you request (e.g., web pages you want to see) can be sent to your computer.

THE PERSONAL INFORMATION I COLLECT

Contact Forms: If you email me directly or use a contact form on this website, I will have your email address, IP address, and any information provided in the contact form or body of the email. I keep all email and contact form communication indefinitely to help improve products and services. You can request a copy of any previous email or contact form correspondence at any time.

Analytics: I use Google Analytics for tracking visitors to the website and aggregating information about website traffic. Click here to read how Google uses information collected from this website and here to read Google’s privacy policy.

Marketing Campaigns: I will not email marketing materials to you unless you have opted in to receive an email from me. However, if you purchase services, I will send you emails. All marketing emails include an unsubscribe link in the footer of the email. This website uses MailerLite for email marketing. Click here to read the MailerLite privacy policy.

Hosting: This website uses GreenGeeks for hosting, backups, web database, file storage, APIs, and log files. Click here to read the GreenGeeks privacy policy.

Content management: This website’s content management system is WordPress. Click here to read the WordPress privacy policy.

Email newsletter subscribers: If you subscribe to the website’s email newsletter, you need to provide your email address. Your email address is stored in the website’s database. If, at any time, you would like to unsubscribe, you can click the unsubscribe link in any of the emails you receive from efttappingforhealth.com. This website uses MailerLite to manage newsletter subscriptions. Click here to read the MailerLite privacy policy.

Clients: Clients need to provide full name and email address. Payment information is collected via PayPal. Click here to read PayPal’s privacy policy.

USES, RETENTION, AND DISCLOSURE OF THE INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO ME

I use the information I collect about you to administer business activities, provide customer service, inform you of updates to my website, market my services, and make items and services available to clients and prospective clients.

I will not obtain personal information about you when you visit my website unless you choose to provide such information. I do not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise transfer any information collected to third parties without your consent.

I will use all reasonable means to protect the confidentiality of your personal information while in my possession or control. All data collected is secured against unauthorized use or access. Information you provide on the website is protected by a secure server.

I only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Credit card information is collected via PayPal, which is used to complete your transaction and supply you with the items or services purchased. This allows me to keep accurate records of your transaction. No financial information is collected on this website, but I do keep payment records for seven years to comply with tax requirements in the United States.

I may disclose information to my contractors, service providers, third parties or other business partners for purposes of running my business including payments, refunds, complaints, court orders, legal processes, or government/regulatory requests. I will do this to protect the legal rights, property, and safety for my business and my clients.

DATA SECURITY

I have implemented measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized use, alteration, and disclosure both during transfer and storage.

However, you also are responsible for the safety and security of the information you send from your computer or electronic device. For example, if you create an account on any website, you must keep your password confidential and not share it with others.

I do my best to protect your information but know that the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Any use of this website and transmission of personal information is at your own risk. I am not responsible for the circumvention of any security measure or privacy settings contained on the website.

Should an event occur where your information has been lost, stolen, or potentially compromised, I will alert you via email within 48 hours of becoming aware of the event. I also will report any such incident to the proper data protection authorities.

  • the right to rectification,
  • the right to erasure,
  • the right to restrict processing,

The first copy of your data that you request will be provided free of charge, but additional copies may be subject to a reasonable fee.

The right to erasure is also known as your right to be forgotten. Being forgotten means all your information will be removed except for data I am required to keep by law.

You may do so in the EU member state of your habitual residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
