In some ways, having a stuck problem is like using computer software that’s not doing what you want it to do. Talking to the computer doesn’t make it work better. Neither does moving it to another room.

To change the way the computer operates, you have to change the programming inside the device to get the results you want. The relationship between your brain, thoughts, emotions, physical health, and actions works the same way. One of the easiest and most effective ways to alter this relationship is with a method called EFT.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), also known as tapping, is an evidence-based, mind-body method that helps get to the roots of your stuck problem at the nervous system level.

EFT combines stimulation of specific acupuncture points (by lightly tapping on them) with holding an aspect of a memory, thought, or feeling in your mind. In this way, tapping works to change your brain’s programmed responses to those aspects. These changes can help you create different results when dealing with your issue or pattern.

There are over 100 clinical studies showing tapping to be an effective way to help deal with problems that have been difficult to resolve.

An important point: this is not about “fixing” you.

EFT is not psychotherapy, counseling, or medical care, and it’s not a cure-all.

However, tapping is an excellent tool for clearing what’s interfering with you getting to the other side of stuck – even if you have no idea what that might be.

Clearing the interference can lead to changes in your body’s biochemistry, your perspective on your situation, and your capacity to make different choices in your life.
